" anybody can walk in a drugstore & look around " ill use this has evidence that his innocent because anybody can be & go where ever with out knowing what going to happen next. Meaning ,he was not expecting nutting to happen but go to the drug store & buy some mints !!!
ReplyDeleteIf I was defending Steve I would of tried to get a video. If there was a camera recording what happen. Then the judge and the jury will see that Steve was just there. Then Steve will be free. James would go to jail.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Steve is innocent because he didn't kill Mr. Nesbitt he just went in to the drug store to buy some mints. And since he got out the store and went back in they accused him for the murder of the owner of the drug store.
ReplyDeleteSteve Harmon it innocent because he physically did not commit the murder nor the robbery. Throughout the story he is shocked of what he is constantly informed of on what took place. As to where King is not surprised and is emotionless on what he hears. Evidently Steve doesn't know what exactly what was to take place. He was unaware and uninformed of the events in this case. He is being falsely accused for a crime that king clearly planned and commited!!

ReplyDeleteIf I was defending Steve Harmon I would say anybody can walk into a drugstore and look around. Why should Steve be on trail for going into a drugstore. If there was anybody else in the drugstore would they be on trail also. He said he went in the store to look for mints. Steve Harmon should be innocent
ReplyDeleteSteve is innocent because anyone could walk in a drugstore and not do anything. But I will look around for evidence that shows his innocent and that he did not do anything to prove that he is guilty at all, But i really think that he was set up by King and his other friends that hate him.

ReplyDeleteIf I was the person defending Steve Harmon, I would do my best proving he is innocent. One reason i would say Steve is innocent because he says " He just walked in the drugstore looking for mints". What person couldn't go in a store and look for mints? Another reason I would say Steve is innocent because Steve didn't pull the trigger there for he shouldn't be the person in jail for the crime. Steve is innocent in my eyes. Those are the reasons I would say Steve is innocent.
ReplyDeleteIf I were defending Steve Harmon, I would prove to the jury that he was innocent of felony murder. I understand that he was present during the robbery but I'm sure that he wasn't the one who pulled the trigger. Another reason that says Steve is innocent is because all the evidence is pointing back to James King.
ReplyDeleteMy client Steve is innocent because he did not do the crime but he is doing the time. I think that if you would take the time to listen to what he has to say you would say the same thing. He did not kill anyone he did not attepmt to rob any drug store.
ReplyDeletesteve is innocent because he did not do anything all he did was walk in the store and come out anyone can do that and the old lady that was in the store she heard him say give me the money and all she did is leave why did she not call the police when she heard him say that she just went on with what she was doing because if i heard some one say give me all the money i going to call the police so why did she not she had a chance she did not call the police at all and now she picks to tell what happened i think steve should be let go because he is innocent

Steve walked into the drugstore to buy some mints. It was an accident because it was the same day of the crime scene. It was just a regular day for Steve. Steve was there just to buy mints. I believe Steve is innocent because it says that Steve went to the store to get mints.
ReplyDeleteSteve Harmon is a good boy. I know he did not kill Mr.Nesbitt. In the book Steve said that he was the look out and nothing else. Also most of the evidence has to do with King or Bobo. All the evidence that has to do with Steve does not prove him to be guilty. Also because when Steve heard how Mr.Nesbitt got killed he was shocked. But King acted like he knew what happend.
ReplyDeleteSteve is innocent because he didn’t know what time the murder will be . he just happen to be there at the exact time as the murder happen . Besides he just went out to buy mints .He would be responsible of the crime he actually shot the person but in reality he didn’t.
ReplyDeleteSteve Harmon is innocent because he said “I went into the drugstore to look for some mints”. He never killed Mr. Nesbitt and he did not take anything From the store. They convicted him without having evidence that he did help them with the robbery maybe he was there at the wrong place at the wrong time.
ReplyDeleteMostly anyone can go look around in the drug store. Just because he was there does not mean he was helping them. These to men (King and Bobo) there are both 20 something years old. Why would they want somebody who is 16 years old.
ReplyDeleteIf I was defending Steve Harmon I would have thought that Steve was guilty.[ at the time] Reason being is that Steve Harmon was supposed to be this guy who can defend his self, but when this random guy comes and confronts his "friend" knowing he was the one to be blamed he sat there while his friend was in for a beat down.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason is that while he and other cell mates had to do "chores" his exact thoughts were "It was me I though as I tried not to throw up, that I had wanted to be tough like them. This show me that if he wanted to be like them what makes you think he wouldn't do like them.
If I were defending Steve Harmon I would say ''anybody can walk into a drugstore and look around''. Is that why he's on trial for looking around. Steve was going into the store to get some mints. Steve Harmon should be innocent

ReplyDeleteSteve Harmon is innocent because there are no evidence that he Committed a crime. The rule is that you are innocent until proven guilty but yet my client is certainly doing the time. Maybe you can just look at this young man and see that he is innocent and got caught up in some mess. He did not rob any drug neither did he kill anyone.
If I were defending Steve, I would think Steve is innocent because in the story it mentions that he didn’t kill Mr. Nesbitt. Steve said all he did was walk into the drugstore and walk back out of the drugstore. Then, the other part of the book it talks about that Bobo describes everything that happened that day, and Steve’s name didn’t popup in the situation.

ReplyDeleteSteve Harmon is innocent. Why should he be on trial for murder if he was in the store looking for mints? Isn't it weird how he was at his house by the time he was arrested. While at the same time King , and Bobo were getting fried chicken.In my prospective I would have thought he would have been with them.
ReplyDeleteIf i was defending Steve Harmon I would say that he is innocent because he was only the lookout he was suppose to give the signal of going in the store but they just went in without getting a signal that is why when they went in the store there was a lady that was buying medicine for her nephew so he was there but did not pull the trigger. also the other part of the book talks about when bobo describes everything that happened that day that is why he gets flashbacks of the day.

Steve is innocent because he was just going to the store to get some mints. That what he said . But i think that he did not do nothing . I think that someone is setting he up . I think that it is Bobo an king because if their going down someone coming with theme.

ReplyDeleteIf I was defending Steve Harmon I would say he is innocent because he didn't kill Mr.Nesbitt. But Steve was at there when it all started and Steve was a look out for Bobo and king. But Steve was still charged of a felony because he was there with them. There was a star witness because she say everything that happen in the store. The lady only seen Steve Harmon come in the drugstore so he can get some mints and left out the store. So it has to be either King or Bobo and after everything happen Bobo and King went to go get something to eat.
ReplyDeleteSteve is innocent in a couple ways. One is because BOBO said that he never talked to steve.In page 189-190 BOBO and O'BRIEN were talking "I didn't have a conversation with him. He's Kings friend." Then O'BRIEN said "so let me get this straight.what was mr. harmon supposed to do if there were cops in the drugstore?" Then BOBO Said "give us a signal." then BOBO didnt even know what the signal was. so how do we know for shore if steve was apart of the hole thing?

As you herd from one of the defendants steve apparently was the look out but it is very odd that there was no signal given to show wether there was any police in the store or not. Also one of the defendants said that the drug store robbery was planed, so why was there no signal, also there was a woman in the store, so why didn't steve worn them about that if he was really the look out, insted of worning them he simply left.
ReplyDeleteSteve is innocent an I can prove that. Steve is innocent because he did not make an signal. So clearly was not apart of the robbery. Steve Harmon is innocent because he is not a bad person. If you read his notes you will see a good side of Steve. I feel that Steve is innocent because many of the people on testimony are lying.

ReplyDeleteIf I was defending Steve Harmon I would do all I could to help him prove innocent. I would tell the truth and get evident to prove him innocent and he didn’t do anything bad. All he did was gone to the store to get him mints the people that were there told him to be the look out.
