One aspect of attending high school that is scary to me is the new setting in which the high school is in. I am very used to Columbia Rd. but I will never know unless I try. I don't want to attend a different place without my other friends by my side. I am scared that something wrong might happen on my way of commuting to high school. I don't want to go to high school yet.

I agree that the school is going to be big but i am going to be brave and work myself out with it. ReplyDeleteThe aspects of high school that is exciting to me is the new classes and all the sports. Most high schools have after school and sports . I am looking forward to playing sports and joying groups . I am looking forward to those things because it will be fun, and also college will be looking for those types of things. I have been looking forward to high school for along time. I am looking forward to meeting new friends and teachers.
ReplyDeleteSome aspects of attending high school that are exciting to me is that I get to meet new people that I can sometimes relate to and can connect to. Plus, I’m totally happy of going to a high school that can really open doors for me when I get to choose a college that will help me reach my goal. Another aspect is that I’m scared of going to a high school that has a new setting and the setting is really different from other high schools but at the same time I am going to be really proud of myself when I reach my goal.
ReplyDeleteOne aspect of attending high school is that I'm going to meet all new people and learn lots of new things. I like learning new drawing ideas and skills.When I first came to this school I didn't know how to do graffiti and now I know how because I met somebody that could and they showed me how. Meeting new people is exciting because you never know what there into and they can be into every thing you're into. When you meet new people they can also teach you new things just like the students I met. Those are the aspects why I'm excited to go to high school.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Carlos because freshmen can't compete with juniors and seniors. The older students might be smarter than me. I am also scared that I won't be one of the smart kids in school anymore. My grade will probably drop under the pressure of teachers and students. People say that the high school teachers won't help do anything, the just let you slide.
ReplyDeleteGoing to high school is kind of scary. I am scared because probably they won't pick the school I want to go to. I am also kind of happy that I am going to HighSchool because I know I am starting to have my own life and my mom won't be nagging about me doing so many stuff I will have to make decisions on my own now.
ReplyDeleteI have mixed feelings about going to high school. I am scared because I will have to be in a school with people that I don't know, and I hate not knowing the people around me because I get shy/quiet... sometimes. I am more excited about going to high school than I am scared because meeting new people can be a good thing. Leaving middle school is sad but when I go to high school most people won't know my past so it will be a fresh start. Also because going to high school is just another stepping stone to collage , and the quicker i get out of collage the quicker i can start my life with a great job and my life as an adult.

ReplyDeleteThe aspect of attending high school thats exciting to me is the sports and because i play sports it makes it being there better. The aspect that scares me about high school is handling being there for 4 years and keeping my grades good that long. I am really looking forward to going to high school but will make progress while being they're. The only other thing that intimidates me about high school is being a freshman and protecting myself being in high school. My goal for high school is to graduate and go to college with my mind set on organizing a great future for myself.
ReplyDeleteOne of the aspects about high school that scary me is playing on sports teams. I think am good but I also believe that there are a lot of people in high school that are already 10 times better then I am now. The reason I say this is because there are athletes in high school that have been playing for years. Eleven and twelve graders and I feel like I am going to feel like a little kid all over again. Also I am a little exited because I know I am growing up and that am ready to start my life.

ReplyDeleteThe aspect that scares me about attending high school is being one of the youngest people there and being new to the school. The aspect that scares me the most about attending high school is the home work.
I disagree because if they pick High school that I don't going to like I will be so mad. I agree because they can pick the school I really want to go to I will be so happy to go to that school. If the school I really want to go to is good school but it big and too fast for me I would not be that happy.

There is also great and exciting things at high school. One is going into a new environment. Then there is also new challenges ahead in high school.

I don’t think I’m ready to go to high school. I want to go to high school to learn but I don’t think the teachers I will be with will not be the same as the teacher I have right now. High school will change people life.

One of my aspects for attending High school is great because I want to learn more new things so when I get older I can become a great person in life. I'm scared to go because your going to be new to the school and you might not know how to get around if the school is big. ReplyDeleteHigh School is going to be a big thing for me because, I'm ready for High School but I'm not ready. I want to go to High School because that will show me that I'm going somewhere in life and that I'm getting the education that I need. I'm not ready for High School because I don't think that I'm, ready as in to grow up and be done with school. I'm sorta scared to go to high school because its like you have to start all over, your the young one again but you where just the leaders of your school. High School is where I'm headed and I'm going to do my best to make everything go as planned.
I agree with Brande because it is hard, but we have to move on. I think we all will miss this school. Most of us have been here for three school years. We had some fun times in this school. Such as, field day in the 6th grade. The field day in 6th grade was fun. We had some bad times. One of the bad times was when we all had lunch detention in 6th grade.

ReplyDeleteOne aspect that is exciting to me about high school is the new people i will meet. Also the fact that i will be more independent and more responsible for myself when i get there. Not really looking forward to all the homework that I'll get though. Hopefully me being all excited to go to high school will be worth it, when i do go. Overall I'm pretty excited to go and start all over and make some unforgetable high school memories.
ReplyDeleteI AGREE WITH BRIANNA EASON BECAUSE I PICKED A COUPLE OF SCHOOLS AND I DO NOT KNOW IF I WOULD GET PICKED TO THAT TYPE OF HIGH SCHOOLS. THE ASPECT OF HIGH SCHOOL IS TO MEET NEW PEOPLE AND LEARN DIFFERENT THINGS. THE OTHER THING IS THAT ONCE I AM FINISH WITH HIGH SCHOOL I GET TO GO TO COLLEGE.

ReplyDeleteI'll have to take would be scary and hard. All those things will be scary because they might be different from the things we are used to. Some things in high school might be fun to do, like gym or other things they will have to do. Also meeting new friends will be a fun thing to do but it will also be scary.
The aspects of attending high school are stimulating to me because I get to meet new people that I can sometimes relate to and have some type of connection and have a great time. Attending high school is also scary to me because it wont feel like middle school to me anymore but we all have to grow up some day.I won’t feel comfortable like the way I am in middle school and I don't know what type of work they have or even the stress I could have being in high school and I could probable have a nervous break down But at the same time I will have to get use to being in High School.

I am excited to go to high school because I am progressing in life. I want to go to high school so then I can go to college and begin my career as a game designer. I think that when the time comes I will know if Im truly ready for High School. (I hope the time comes before graduation)

Attending High school is kind of scary for me because I want to go to high school but then again I don’t. The reason why I want to go to high school is because I want to meet new things and be able to understand it in order to explain or help other people and I can show my family that I make my own life and how I can handle it on my own without letting my mom taking over. You won't get as much help as you would if were in a cohort or another type of class. I also agree with Michelle because High School will make you feel like your growing up because you get to do more thing by yourself.
I agree with Michelle Gonzalez. I'm not really scared to go to high school. Like Michelle,i am worried about not getting as much teacher reliability that will be needed. I only say this because we are more independent in grades 9-12. Therefore I'm not really scared to go to high school, i just have a few worries about my standards that won't be met.

The same problem occurred in elementary I was nervous, and I wasn’t ready for middle school. When it is time to leave I will lose everyone who grew close to me. I know for a fact that I am not ready for high school yet leaving would be like the first day of preschool when you are not ready to leave your mom or dad its painful. High school is going to be tough, life is tough but I will never know until I have experienced it. I don’t want to meet new friends I want to stay with my old ones, I want them to be by my side. I don’t want to grow up. I will miss Lilla G Frederick class 2008-09.

ReplyDeleteOne aspect of attending high school that is exciting to me is that you get more freedom in high school than in middle school. In high school you get to make your own choices and the teachers will let you make your own choices instead of telling you what to do. Some high schools are really strict and you have no say in what you are doing. The freedom makes me look forward to high school because making my own choices makes me more comfortable going to school.
