In sunrise over fallujah the book was about when the main character robin went to the war. In the war I read that jonesy had died trying to save a little innocent blind boy. He had got shot in the neck but he was just being brave after they had told him to leave the little boy behind but he did not do what was told. Also I have read that the setting took place in fallujah. In the book they were trying to help the enemies they we getting notebooks pencils dolls cars.
ReplyDeleteThe book sunrise over Fallujah was an interesting book. In the book the main character's name is robin he is in the army. Robin has become friends with all his co-soldiers this story is about how the war in Iraq really is. Robin nickname that the other soldiers gave was Birdie robin feels that after being in Iraq that these new friends he made are like family. In the book the way robin describes it its like if he were in hell. The book is mostly describing that the war is not a great thing at all.

ReplyDeletesun rise over fallujah is basically about what is going on that i find vary negatives but based on this book we read it was about soldier fighting in a war it was like the star troopers vs the jeteye as an example witch turned this world around for soldiers being in iraq what i noticed was thta robin was writing letter to his people in Harlem the why that he wrote his letter in th3e story made it feel like he wasnt going to live anymore an dim just glad he made it throw as book in the character. in the book
ReplyDeleteSunrise over Fallujah is a book about a squad who is in Iraq. The squad’s missions Is called operation Iraqi freedom and they are there to help the Iraqis to have a better life. The squad goes out into Kuwait and Fallujah every day and on some days they get to go to a r and r to relax. The squad gets along and is not always in action. During the story someone from another squad gets kidnapped and also a bus blows up. The story is full of action. In the end one of the squad members is shot in the neck and dies

Robin has made many friends in Iraq and has had many good times. In this book Walter Dean Myers show how it is to be a soldier in Iraq. In this book the author uses flashbacks and connections.

It was about drama and violence and the soldiers are trying to stop the Iraqis from killing innocent people and make this world a better place.

ReplyDeleteIn the book Sunrise over Fallujah, the, the main chacrter was about a boy name Robin (Birdy). He got sent to the War in Iraq. His dad didn’t want him there. What Robin does is sends mail to his dad to say what he does there. Robin was in Iraq and did like it there.
ReplyDeleteMy class and I read the book called Sunrise Over Fallujah. This book was about the war in Iraq and the struggles that they have to go through. The main character is a 19-year-old guy named Robin A.K.A “Birdie”. When he went into war his father was basically, enraged with anger because he didn’t want robin to join the war. When he joined the war, he meant a bunch of new friends; some of them were even so close to him that they felt like family to him. When they were in the war they felt like they had to watch each others back to get out of that war alive!

ReplyDeleteSunrise over fallujah is a story about a 19-year-old boy named Robbin Perry. He really wanted to join the Iraq war. His father didn’t approve of him joining he war. Robbin started becoming interested in the war because his uncle was in it. As soon as started Robbin loved the experience. He created bonds with many people. After a while he started falling for a girl named Marla who gave him the nickname birdy. All of Robbins experience came to a tragic end when he suffered a horrible loss of his friend named Jonsey.

He had died trying to save a blind boy.Eveyone took that loss very hard.The main setting of the book took place in Fallujah. In the book Robin went in as A S.A and left as a hero. He was very interested of being in the army because his uncle was one their & he wanted to see what it was like. His father dint accept the fact that he had joined the army but his mother was alright with it. Has the days went by he'll write letters to his uncle letting him know how it was going. Robbin met a lot of friends down there , they helped him out a bit with things he dint know. There was a girl named Marla that he fell in love with , she gaved him a nickname witch was Birdy. After he started getting interested in this "army thing" but has they went to war he lost two friends witch that was a BAD feeling for him !
ReplyDeleteSunrise Over Fallujah was a book that started off very boring and terrible to very surprising and interesting the begin of the book I'll give a 1/5 and at the end a 9/10. the beginning of the book was pretty much getting to know every body that was in Camp Dix. Then in the middle they started talking about soccer. At the end one of the most interesting characters die which happens to be Jonesy. Jonesy wanted to open a blues shop but ended up dying trying to save a blind little boy. Robin Perry (A.K.A Birdy) ended up feeling sad because his best friend in the war has died and begins to question if there is a God or not.

That is sent to Iraq for the first time and is basically trying to make it out alive. Along the way he grows closer and closer with the other soldiers part of his unit and. Meet some interesting friends Marla and Jonesy was the closest. Along the way he starts understanding who he really is and what life with bring you along the way he sees things that he never seen before and loose someone that always will be part of his life because. Of the type of courage and pride that person had. Him going to war was probably a way of him finding who he really is.

Jonesy believed he could open up a blues club, but he never got to. Imagine trying to fulfill your dreams, but you don’t get to. Jonesy died trying to save a bind kid. That stinks. Robin experience a lot of trepidation while he was in Iraq he seened a lot of dead bodies laying in the ground and bodies being wraped in body bags. While all that was happening he meet people that he could actually create a bond with.After a while he falls in love with a girl named Marla, Marla was also a member of the Civil Affair. After months later they had a foul tragic Jonsey a guy he had truly bonding with had died during war. But Robin promised that he will never forgive him durig the time and Marla and him are very close they stay in touch with each other at the end.

The book was about a adult named Robin Perry age 19 and he was part of the army with the other people that got accepted will drafted to the military base. And she and the crew was going to Baghdad to take out the people who hated the troops that was serving for the country. And they were trying to make peace with those people and he tried to give the kids love too. The reason was because they knew that if they hated the kids and the kids had hated them then they would probably get shot because they gave kids guns if they knew that they were getting attacked. The other thing the book was also about taking back Baghdad for good.
Sunrise over Fallujah is about a 18-year old boy who joined the war of Iraq. He went into the war thinking he could handle it and he was doing what he felt he should do.During the book what was taking place terrified Robin having him change his vie on the war. At first he wasn't able to handle the death of the civilians, but later got used to it. Robin never got rid of that nervous feeling, knowing that death was random and could happen at any time. Seeing one of his best friends die really took a toll on his heart. He was glad to be reassigned at the end, and now understood why his uncle was so secretive about the hard times of the war.

While he there he met a man named Jonsey which became his best friend but later on he ended up dying trying to save a little blind boy so he ran in the middle of gunfire and saved the little boy but he risked his life in the process he got shot in the neck and ended up dying in a tent. Robin suffered greatly and he was really upset like everyone else who was close to Jonesy.

Sunrise over Fallujah was about a teen named Robin " Birdy" he was in the war and had different thoughts about it because his father thought the war didn't fit him. Sunrise Over FAllujah was an okay book. Sunrise Over Fallujah was a book that made me see how something really effected people in different ways from all the crying and sobbing.
