The most important Civil Rights era was the Civil right Act (1964). The Civil Rights Act which required equal access to public places.Black and White Was Allowed To use the same water fountain the same bathroom.
The event that was the most important during the civil rights era the 13, 14, and 15th, amendment. These amendments were very important because without the 13th amendment, the blacks would be enslaved today. Without the 14th amendment, the blacks wouldn't be able to have equal rights as the whites do. Without the 15th amendment, the blacks wouldn't be able to vote and wouldn't be able to speak their minds without being killed or shot at.
The fourteenth amendment was the most important. It the most important because it states that every one is equal. In America everyone is equal and everyone has equal rights. If everyone has equal rights and are free than everyone than everything is perfect.
The Brown v. Board of Ed. is the most important event the happened. The case was meant for "white" people to hear "black" students cries. The evidence that was shown that separated schools led to low self-esteem was: several young girls were shown different types of dolls and they all chose the "white" doll because they were "nicer". The outcome of the case was: separate is not equal in schools. All students deserve the same education. Back then, "black" students didn't have the same supplies that the "white" students had. The "black" students felt indignant that's why they brought the case to the court.
I think the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth amendments were the most important events on the civil rights time line because they abolished many problem problems like slavery. They got rid of slavery, allowed black people to vote and and gave everyone equal rights under the law.
